This an old rusty Chevrolet covered by snow. The truck was quietly sleeping under the snow cover by the side of a road. I saw it and photographed it in Glasgow Montana and thought it would make a good Sunday Still image.
I just liked the contrast between the heavy rusty metal of the car and the fresh white snow, each with total different kind of texture 🙂
The Old rusty Chevrolet covered by snow In Montana is one of my recently posted photos on Fine Art America. I’m proud to say that several art galleries selected it already as a featured image on their front pages 🙂 That includes: “Travel Art”, “Arts Fantastic World”, “Transportation”, “Exploration Photography” and the one that I like most: “Seen But Not Noticed” gallery 🙂
Indeed, the quietly sleeping old rusty truck is one of those common things that people see but don’t really notice. I’m always open to finding them and I’m always looking for them 🙂
If you like photos of snow, Montana is one of the best places to go, except Canada of course 😉 I personally love taking photos of snow. I especially love to go on back-roads and to small towns or villages for them.
But sometimes, snow photography looks interesting in black and white. Therefore, I made a B&W version of the Old rusty Chevrolet covered by snow. What do you think?
I also uploaded it to my Fine Art America gallery – well, these things that people don’t really notice, can make some of the greatest prints to be exposed on a wall… 🙂
Congratulations on having your photo selected as a featured image. That’s excellent!
Thank you Fandango! I’m proud of this too 🙂
Both photos are very beautiful! I prefer the one in color because the rust stands out in a wonderful and complementary way.
Thank you Jenna, I appreciate your feed-back. I like the color version better too 🙂
