Flaming Gorge Reservoir water reflections creating astonishing symmetries

Flaming Gorge Reservoir Water Reflections

The day when we visited the Flaming Gorge National Park in Wyoming, the water was so calm and clear. Just perfect for some astonishing perfect symmetric reflection. I took this photo at the Recreation Area of the park.  We visited this stunning place on both sides: Wyoming and Utah and they both gorgeous places to see.

Here are some more of those fantastic water reflections creating almost abstract images:

I particularly liked the earth’s brown, beige, orange and red colors contrasting with the blues of the water.

Here you can even see a small bird – Loon probably, floating on the water 🙂

The lake at this National Park Recreation Area was formed by the 1964 construction of the Flaming Gorge Dam.  You can see it on Utah side of the park.

The whole area of an astonishing beauty offers various outdoor recreational activities like: boating, swimming, camping, fishing, and climbing. See more North American National Parks we visited.
