Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort – Tuesday Photo Challenge

“When Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort closes for the season, the event is celebrated with music, food, drink and fun. I have to admit that we didn’t go to ski, but as tourists we were curious to see the party 🙂

What a surprise to see the famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign here. It was standing at the bottom of the slopes in the Las Vegas Ski Resort! For the moment I thought I was on the strip 🙂

I’m sure that not too many people would associate the gambling city with skiing and winter sports. Yet, Mount Charleston is a great place for outdoor and sport activities all year round. Incredible but true, this is only at about 45 min, from downtown Las Vegas

The closing party was a success: Lot’s of costumes, music, beer and fun 🙂
